Mental deadlines dont really help
Long ago i wrote all this nonsense:
Sometimes we just tag along with time, going where it takes us, getting dragged.
And sometimes we have these mental deadlines. And they help!
It's true that if you don't achieve a goal you set due to blah blah reasons, you'll feel depressed. But it's also true that if you have a mental deadline, something automatically changes. Life moulds itself as per your expectation from it. Just holding onto the idea of a turning point, makes it appear sooner or later. Like +/- 5%.
Yup. I can bank on life's beautiful ways. It gives you just what you need.

But this stuff i wrote is wrong. The illusion of being in control of life is so strong.
