The first and last word

The first and last word when it comes to any philosophy or way of life is surrender. Be it mayavaad, be it Krishna Consciousness.

And unlike popular opinion, surrender does not imply voluntary permission to manipulate. It means allowing the waves to do their work and enjoy the ride.

The more you struggle to control the waves and fight them, the more resistance you create. And very soon you become exhausted and throw up.

Instead, when you let go, you allow the waves to guide you and enjoy yourself. There is no more resistance. Only fun.

So I should trust and let go. My joy ride in this universe is going to be just great!

The person I trust is more wise, and so I am completely ok with the guidance available.

Complete and unswerving surrender is possible only when the wants of the external personality that you have assumed in this birth are healed.

The cravings, need to control, desires and fears can be released one by one by remaining aware of your each emotion and discovering the root cause of every emotion. By choosing love, compassion and wisdom, you disallow your defects of anger and fear from controlling you. This results in healing.

Once you are completely healed, you will be able to sustain your surrender.

Otherwise there is every chance of falling back into old, familiar patterns.

Good luck on this mission dear friend. Thank you God for answering all my questions.
