Mayapur - Ganga Snan

After a long 2 day train ride and a short bus ride, we were ready for a bath. What better way to enter Mayapur than to enter after a nice refreshing dip in the pure ganges!

Ganga water is transcendentally pure. Very few people understand what that means. To see the truth you need different vision. When you see with that vision you can see beyond material, you can see on the spiritual platform. So if you took a look at the Ganges with those eyes, you would be able to tell how exalted she is. She is rose pink in color because she touches Lord Vishnu's toe before coming to earth. The Lord's feet are decorated with read kumkum powder.

This Ganga purifies us. Lord Chaitanya performed many pastimes in Ganga water, and so we have special love for Ganga maiya.
