Audacity

I have always considered myself a very pious person, despite the tons of sins I indulged in. I have developed all the bad qualities one can possess, and yet I remain blind to them. I consider only my good qualities, which are truly only the result of the great mercy of Srila Prabhupada upon me.

I dismiss my sins as mistakes, and I justify my mentality with many excuses. I always have an excuse for being lazy, sinful, duplicitous, envious, judgmental, and vain. I never met anyone whom I considered superior to me. Even my guru, I think one day I will serve and protect him. I have offended countless wonderful souls, because I considered them ordinary and unimportant.
