The most dangerous thing ever

Is ignorance. We are ignorant of the facts that are crucial for life and not knowing them makes us dangerous. Speculation makes it worse.

Babies are not born with manuals. But the knowledge required to take care of a baby is "lost" and so many untruths are perpetrated about babies that my heart pains in sympathy for the soul suffering in the body of a baby. Their painful cries due to gas and the need to burp are misunderstood as hunger, and then dismissed by using sleep-training methods, which only work because the baby gives up hope of ever being understood.

From extolling demand feeding to calling cow's milk and honey dangerous, the myths out there, backed up by so-called science, are poisonous. Babies cry the exact same way when they are hungry or feel gas pain. The poor things are fed when all they need is comfort.

Even calling a baby naughty for not sleeping at night is horrible. They are not being naughty. It is pain that keeps them awake and crying.

Saying that babies cry for no reason is like calling them little plastic toys that function a certain way and have no soul.

What a dangerous world to live in! If the world is an ocean of misery, then the water of that ocean is ignorance.

Let ignorant fools suffer?

If someone is ignorant of something that could drastically cut down their suffering should you try to help them? Do you know what it is? Would you tell them even if they didn't ask you?

I want to scream out the things I know to people who don't know what they really need to know. It could be saving more than one person from suffering. But I have a great resistance because I know somewhere in my heart that I will be dismissed. My words will go unappreciated. My concern will be misconstrued as me making them feel like an idiot, like they are less than me for not knowing what I now know. I feel like, it is not my job. They will be able to figure it out just like I figured it out, with help from God. If they are not asking for help, that is a big indication of how proud and ungrateful they are.

Helping proud and ungrateful people is a thankless job. You could even get killed for wanting to help. And yet, love is the reason you would be willing to take that risk.
