Envy, love of God, mercy and humility

Envy of God is the same as envy of His parts and parcels, who come from Him, and get their qualities from Him. In a way it is envy of one's own soul and self. This is insanity.

Love of God manifests naturally when this envy is absent. The mercy of the Lord is needed to overcome envy. And humility helps us access the mercy of the Lord and to maintain non-enviousness even in provocative situations.

There is only one root cause that my rounds are full of offenses. And that is my envy. When that goes, I will be able to rid myself of all offenses with the help of the Lord and be able to love all His parts as my own self. I will also see my eternal soul existence and stop being envious of my own eternal soul, which comes from God and is meant to serve Him eternally in joy.

Faith is increased when one loves someone. And the ultimate faith is pure love of God. In this faith, we lose all doubts and misconceptions of perceived injustice and become cleansed of all misgivings. We find that we receive what we deserve, and that injustice is never done. Not even a blade of grass can move without the Lord's sanction.

Envy is present when there is lack of faith in the natural and complete justice of the Lord. Envy disallows us from having complete faith in the Lord. Only by increasing our faith in the Lord can we experience a decrease in envy.

Thank you Krishna. Please now, help me discard this envy, which I have foolishly placed as a diamond on the center of my crown, coronating my own self as the queen. I am but a servant of the servants. I am simply insignificant. And yet I consider myself the queen, because of this envy. This envy is not a diamond. It is simply a piece of deceptive glass.

Deception is a two-way process. The one who allows himself to be deceived is fully responsible.

Forgiveness comes naturally when we are humble and non-envious. We don't even feel as though another person has committed an offense. May I be able to maintain such a state even in provoking situations.

Thank you Krishna. By Your Kindness, I may learn how to be truly simple, like Maharaj Chitraketu, Maharaj Yuddhisthira, Kuntidevi, Ambarish Maharaj, Jesus Christ and the great Vaishnavas who have developed pure love for You.

Jeepers Creepers

When a weed appears to be a creeper, one cannot distinguish between the two. At that time one should approach an expert gardener to understand whether it is a weed or creeper. Weeds are driven by personal motivations for pride, fame, envy, etc. The creeper of devotion is solely focused on the pleasure of Sri Hari.

If one has no malice in one's heart for anyone and prays for everyone's eternal benefit, then one is actually peaceful and not consumed by anger.
